On a Monday, Thursday and Friday this timetable is slightly different as a whole school assembly held in the school hall.
On Monday between 8:45 and 9:00am we have a whole school assembly for the Lower Phase. The Upper Phase assembly takes place on a Tuesday morning at the same time. The theme for this assembly always has a moral and spiritual theme and is led by a Senior Teacher, one of our classes or a visiting speaker. Our local vicar from Holy Trinity Church, Reverend Will Lane and Reverend James Taylor visit us regularly.
On Thursday (8:45 and 9:00am for the Upper Phase and then 10:45 – 11:05am for the Lower Phase), we have a whole school singing assembly.
On a Friday (8:45 and 9:00am for the Upper Phase and then 10:45 – 11:05am for the Lower Phase), we have our whole school celebration assembly. In this assembly we find out who has won the celebration cup for each individual class. This cup is awarded to an individual child by the teachers and LSAs for good work, good behaviour or an act of kindness. We also find out who has won the House Point Cup to see which of our four houses has achieved the most house points in that week.
