7ES (also known as the 'Hub' class) was introduced to support and develop the understanding of children with diverse needs. The class is an inclusive environment that celebrates the strengths and differences of each individual and our pedagogy is based on the principles of a nurturing approach.

The children in 7ES are from across all KS2 year groups and each child in the class has, or is in the process of gaining, an EHCP. The targets set in their EHCP form a bespoke, individualised curriculum which is differentiated to meet each child’s needs (academic and/or SEMH).

Developing positive relationships, establishing routines and encouraging responsibilities will be a key focus this term.
