Spellings

These are the year 1, 2, 3 and 4 common exception words. These are the words that children often find tricky to remember the spellings of in their writing.

These are the statutory words that children learn in year 3 and revisit in year 4.

This is the spelling overview for the year 3 spellings for the first half of the summer term. If your child normally using the phonics spellings please use the year 1 and 2 common exception words and high frequency words.
